How Can I Be Sure That I’m Saved?
Q: Some say Calvinism brings comfort because it means God never loses one of His legs. Others say it creates fear that maybe they’re not really chosen. How should believers find assurance of salvation in Christ, apart from complicated theological systems?
A: By trusting in Christ today. By abiding in Him today. Do I trust in the good news of Jesus Christ, of who He is and what He did to rescue me? Am I looking away from sin and self and looking to Jesus today? Then I have full assurance and I don’t have to worry about it.
